SoftServe Took Part in Meeting of Participants of the "ADONIS" European Commission Project and Representatives of Ukrainian Companies

The first meeting of representatives of the Adonis project and Ukrainian companies oriented at delivery of software solutions and products abroad was held on June, 19 in the large conference hole of the Presidium of National Academy of Science of Ukraine.

There were more than 50 people present at the meeting, among which one could mark representatives of almost all leaders of Ukrainian industry of software development, one of them was SoftServe, Inc., representatives of Brussels University, Market Visio company (Gartner Group), Fort-Ross consortium, the largest Scandinavian communication corporation Telia Sonera, other European companies.

Foreign participants of the meeting were impressed by the progress of certain Ukrainian companies in executing offshore outsourcing orders. A cumulative list of the largest clients of the Ukrainian companies, among which are such companies as Xerox, Microsoft, Deutsche Telecom, European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company, Ingersoll Rand, Delta Airlines and many others from the list Fortune 500 was especially impressing.

The most pleasant result of the meeting in our view became two factors.

Firstly, all participants expressed their interest in the creation of permanent platform for continuation of such meetings.

Secondly, participants of the "Adonis" project offered the Ukrainian Association of Software Development help in the issue of funding the organization of annual international forum and called to closer co-operation in executing separate projects of the Program.
