According to The Global Outsourcing Report – marketing
research of world market of offshore programming – SoftServe
is defined as one of the major players of Ukrainian IT outsourcing
market and one of the most perspective company of this sphere in
Ukraine. For Y2006 SoftServe demonstrated the increase of main
parameters of its growth.
If we analyze the results of the last 5 years we can see that
growth of the export of IT segment where SoftServe is working
became the biggest in Ukrainian economy and represents an average
growth of 44% annually.
The strategy of our company was always based on competition in
quality of the developed software, complexity of the projects and
speed development. We are glad that our strategy allowed our
company to enjoy high growth rate. This year the number of our
employees increased up to 700 people. Correspondingly, we continue
to prove our status of the biggest and best IT company in our
segment. Two more software development centers were opened: one in
Dnipropetrovsk and another in Ivano-Frankivsk. It is necessary to
mention that three of our development centers already operate in
Lviv and Rivne, as well as sales and marketing offices in Kyiv
(Ukraine), Boston and Santa-Ana (USA).
One more trend in IT sector – the increase of
company’s investments for the education of its personnel. To
increase a professional level of our prospective specialists this
year we launched SoftServe University that includes SoftServe IT
Academy Program, Microsoft IT Academy Program, SoftServe Language
School and SoftServe Certification Center.The mission of this
institution is to help students and young specialists gain
knowledge and merits, as well as getting Certificate of
International IT-professional.
SalesWorks™ system has become one of the biggest successes
of SoftServe. It was the finalist of Microsoft Partner Program
Awards for a “Technology Innovation Partner of the
Year” in the “Mobility Solutions” category.
