SoftServe and Microsoft Ukraine Organized Press Club Meeting

Stated meeting of press club “Press Coffee Morning” took place in Kyiv on August 22. In the meeting participated leading mass-media representatives and top management of Microsoft Ukraine and SoftServe. The main topic of the meeting was dedicated to the results of Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2006.Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2006 was one of the biggest Microsoft Partners conferences ever held. It took place in Boston (USA), and the attendance level reached approximately nine thousand participants from top-tier management. System SalesWorks™, the product of SoftServe, was the finalist of Microsoft Partner Program Awards for a “Technology Innovation Partner of the Year” in the “Mobility Solutions” category.

 

During the meeting the Head for Software Developers Department Microsoft Ukraine, Alexander Orekhov, marked: "The list of participants of Microsoft Partner Program Awards was really impressive. SoftServe rivaled companies from Great Britain, Canada and Greece etc. I do not remember anything like this to happen before and that is why this event is so significant for us. We hope that in near future we will have more achievements like this".

 

According to Alexander Orekhov, establishment of "Microsoft Ukraine" is one of the important facts, because of which more of leading Ukrainian Microsoft Partners started to attend worldwide events. SoftServe, finalist of Microsoft Partner Program Awards, is a bright example of it. Besides, it is not just an excellent product, but a valuable future break-through solution, which indicates the development direction of IT sector.
